Every company has a beginning. Ours began with a question: why should India continue to depend on imported Kitchen Rolling Shutters when we have the capability to design and manufacture them ourselves?
In 2023, almost every Kitchen Rolling Shutter available in the Indian market was imported, primarily from China and, in limited quantities, from Germany. There was a widespread belief that such products could not be designed and manufactured in India with the same quality and precision. For us, that belief became a challenge.
Having spent over a decade building expertise in architectural aluminium systems, façades, windows and engineering products, we knew that Indian engineering talent was capable of much more. We decided to take on the challenge of designing, engineering and manufacturing a Kitchen Rolling Shutter entirely in India.
The early days were not easy. Many traders and distributors appreciated our product but still asked one question: "Is it imported?" When we proudly replied that it was Designed, Engineered and Manufactured in India, many hesitated. Those conversations strengthened our resolve rather than weakening it. We chose not to imitate imported products — instead, we stood firmly behind our belief that Indian manufacturing could compete with the best in the world when driven by innovation, quality and consistency.
Slowly, perceptions began to change. Distributors started accepting Satori. Installations increased. Confidence grew. Today, within a remarkably short span, Satori's Rolling Shutter systems have become a recognised and respected name within the Indian modular kitchen industry.
As our relationships with distributors deepened, they began asking: "What other products do you manufacture?" That question became the inspiration for our next phase of innovation, and we expanded our portfolio into pull-out storage and corner storage systems.
We do not aspire to become merely another hardware manufacturer. We aspire to build an Indian company that leads through innovation, earns trust through quality and competes globally through engineering excellence. We firmly believe that the future of Indian manufacturing lies not in copying the world, but in creating products that the world respects.
